so i have wanted a tattoo for as long as i could remember and had a heap of ideas but none really grabbed me that much either then the day after i was admitted to hospital and i was flicking through the cancer council info booklets (excellent little info books about all different things you need to know about cancer and treatment) i was looking at the daffodil symbol that use and suddenly thought bingo when im done with chemo im getting one on my left wrist to signified that i survived cancer/chemo and it was also perfect cos daffodils are my fav flowers
anyways i let my peeps know ( a friend was going to do it ) he said sure after chemo NOT during and last night he said im free tomorrow so up we went to get it
so its dainty and cute im going to attach a picture of the symbol and will add a pic when its healed
didnt hurt that much at all!! mum and Craig where there so they got one each too now i just need to figure out the places for the rest!! ......

iblogging

So I'm posting this via my iPod. Yay I'm good. Well I'm sick again!! This is the 6th time I've been sick since I went back to work! This of course is all my fault because I acciddently put my white cell injection In the microwave instead of the fridge when I got home from my last chemo so making it useless and now I haven't had the boat for my imune system so I have been getting one cold after another! Which has done wonders for my skin! Its constantly dehydrated even though at minnum drink 2litters of water every day so I have spent a small fortune in skin care to repair it. I now use 3 moisturisors each morning. So I have had the best night sleep and Adrian made matters worse by letting jack sleep with us last night so I spent all night being punched and kicked by him! He is now too big to sleep with us. Another side note my iPod picks up a lot of my spelling and graamma mistakes and changers them for me which is great cos the ipod touch key board is very senitive.
Ok I'm off now cricket starts in an hour and I need to get out of bed

so i made my brother a thief

on the school holidays mum and i took jack to Tarragona Zoo. he was excited to go until about an hour after we got there he was not interested in the animals at all and just wanted to go back home. he did like the animals he did see, and particularly liked the seals and zebras and the lions which when we were looking at them a female lion came right up to the glass and looked right at him. his favourite thing turned out to be the sky lift to get up there. on the way out we went through the gift shop and i got lost at the front door looking at kids books (ohh how unusual i here u say!) while mum and jack went in and shopped, jack brought a snow glob ( he loves them) with his tooth fairy money (he lost his first tooth the day before)
then while i was still looking mum walked out and left jack in the store with me at this point he had a spider toy in his hand which i assumed mum had brought him, on our way out he mentioned the spider and i said "yeah mum paid for that" and we walked out. when we were back outside and on our way down the sky lift mum sees the spider and says "oh did u buy him the spider?" i said "um no u did, didnt u?" she says "no!" then we realise that "oh O! we stole it" well i stole it. i turn to jack and said "u didnt buy that u stole it jack" he looked at mum and screamed "no i didnt it was Lisa! she didnt pay for it!!" i was so shoked he just gave me up in a heart beat! i said "well thats the last time i bring u in on anything, youd sell me out!"

p.s typically im normally dont intentionally steal and i wouldnt teach my 5 yr old brother to steal either

sydney harbour

on wednesday i took jack to sydney to take him on a ferry since has never been on one before. he was so excited because he said he had never seen the harbour bridge or the opera house either. when we pulled into circular quay he was saying "oh my god, its soo cool!" when went down to the ferry terminal and i was planing to go full circle around the harbour, then catch a ferry to neutral bay then have lunch with adrian. jack was very excited when we got of the ferry then when we stared moving, he immediately wanted to get off and became sea sick. so when we got to darling harbour instead of going back around to circular quay we got off and walked up to adrian's work. the longest walk of my life!, it was raining, uphill, lung infection, 5 year old saying how much longer?, and i became overheated so i had to stop off at a shop any buy a t-shirt and bra.
we met adrian's work jack liked going up to see adrian's office "adrian is very busy!" after lunch i asked jack did he want to go home or catch another ferry. he said he did (amazingly) so we jumped on a train back to circular quay and caught a ferry to watson's bay and back this time he loved it. then we came back home a good day all in all.

Nan

on thursday mum, jack and i went down to my Nan's in New Berrima to have lunch. mum and jack wanted to go on the train, so we went on the train, its soo long. it takes an hour and half to get to moss vale. a train trip i made back and forth for 4 years while i was studying in moss vale. i took jack on the train when he was 2 to hand in an assignment and he cried for a 3rd of the trip but this time he enjoyed it ( well he is 5 now!) i read him the cat in the hat. but by mittagong he was asking "is this our stop?"
anyways we get to mossie and my uncle picked us up. my nan had chemo in bowral so we waited for nan to come home.
then we went to mossie to have lucnh
man this sounds sooo excited so far!!
after we had lucnh we came home with my aunty gill and she told mum and i that my nans doctors wantb to stop her chemo and after that they will only give her a few months to live. and they plan to stop the chemo in a week or two.
stupidly i was a bit shocked becos nan has always conveyed that she is getting better, and is healthy ( apparently that is the chemo) i didnt think she would be cured but i didnt think it will happen so quikly either.

Footy, Jack and Circuses

okay i can see this is going to be a bad NRL season for me in the tipping
last week i got 0 from 8, 0!!!

we had jack over last night and im taking him to the circus today,
his actually yelling at me to get out of the bad so i gotta run
